back yard or along the pathways of trails...i am almost always stopped by the gift of flowers--the colors are great but the variance and textures stir me most..
..so one eve as i lay on a float (a couple of shiners into the evening) in my backyard pool (near memorial park in houston) i looked up to see this great bloom hanging from the poolside banana tree...i took the pic rather quickly...once enlarged i was pleased and surprised to see the three bees helping themselves to the gifts that the tiny yellow flowers offered...this photo shows great when enlarged as much as possible and has great color contrast and texture to offer...it is one of my favorites...
